Doina Simionescu n. 1947

In 1978, 1979, 1981, 1983 and 1986 Doina Simionescu participated at the Drawing Contest “Juan Miro” (Barcelona). She was granted the first mention of the contest in 1979, and then, in 1981, she was awarded the prize of the Juan Miró Foundation.

Her artworks are in important private and public collections: National Museum of Contemporary Art (MNAC, Romania); Albertina Museum (Vienna, Austria); São Paulo Museum of Art (Brazil); FRAC Alsace (France); Charlottenborg Gallery, Copenhagen, Denmark; “Juan Miró” Foundation (Barcelona, Spain).
